APEX GATEWAYS

Privacy Policy

How we handle information when you explore our portfolio or contact us about a partnership.

Apex Gateways Inc., Canada

Published / last revised: October 7, 2026

This policy explains how Apex Gateways Inc. handles personal information when you visit apexgateways.com, explore our portfolio or contact us about a business opportunity.

Information you provide

We receive the information you submit through our Contact, Become a Partner and Portfolio Inquiry forms. Depending on the form and your selections, this may include your name, email address, phone number, company or organisation, website, business or partner roles, headquarters country, year established, current and target markets, distribution channels, marketing resources, social-profile links, selected brands, product or franchise interests, territory preferences and message. A general portfolio inquiry may be submitted without selecting a specific brand.

Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry. Do not include payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in these forms. If you provide another person’s contact details, please ensure you have permission to do so.

How we use inquiry information

We use inquiry information to respond to you, assess potential partnerships, discuss relevant brands or franchise opportunities and maintain correspondence concerning your request or a resulting business relationship. Relevant technical information is also used to operate, troubleshoot and protect the website.

Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or promotional mailing list and does not, by itself, authorise us to use your personal information for advertising. If we introduce newsletters or email marketing in the future, we will seek a separate appropriate opt-in where required.

Browser storage, cookies and technical information

The portfolio uses local browser storage to remember your shortlist and search/filter selections across visits. These choices remain in the browser until cleared or changed; they are not limited to a single browsing session. They may be accessible to someone using the same browser profile. You can clear them through your browser’s website-data settings, although doing so will remove saved selections.

Saving a shortlist or filter choice does not itself submit an inquiry to Apex. The current portfolio does not save unfinished inquiry text as a website-provided form-draft feature. Your browser may separately offer its own autofill or saved-information functions.

WordPress and related site functions may use necessary cookies, including administrator login cookies. Browser storage and cookies are different technologies. You can manage both through your browser settings, although blocking them may affect site functionality.

Hosting, form, security and email systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or device information, timestamps, submission records and delivery records. The Become a Partner form currently records submission IP information. Hosting or security services may also generate operational or usage statistics.

Our current website review did not identify Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or advertising pixels on the inspected public pages. Fluent Forms analytics and its listed marketing integrations are currently disabled. This does not mean that hosting-side statistics or all technical logging are absent.

The website loads some fonts from Google Fonts. Loading these external resources connects your browser to the provider, which may process technical request information under its own privacy practices.

Who handles information and when we share it

Inquiries are handled by Apex and authorised service providers supporting website hosting, forms, email, security, backups and technical administration. These services may process information needed to provide their functions. Inquiry notifications addressed to info@apexgateways.com are received in Apex’s existing business mailbox.

We do not automatically share your personal or contact information with brands, distributors, franchisors or other external business partners. If progressing an inquiry requires an introduction involving personal information, we will explain the intended introduction and seek appropriate permission before sharing that information.

We may discuss an opportunity internally or use non-personal business information where appropriate. Information may also be disclosed where required or permitted by applicable law.

Processing in Canada and other jurisdictions

Website, email, hosting, security and other service providers may process information in Canada or other jurisdictions. An external business partner involved in an introduction you agree to may also operate elsewhere. Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to the laws applicable there, including lawful access by authorities.

We do not represent that all information is stored exclusively in Canada. Contact our Privacy Officer if you would like information about the providers or processing locations relevant to your inquiry.

Records, retention and security

Submitted inquiries may be held in website records and notification emails. Become a Partner submissions are retained in Fluent Forms, and Portfolio Inquiry submissions are stored as private WordPress inquiry records. Contact inquiries are delivered through the website’s email notification process. Related correspondence, technical or security logs and backups may hold additional copies or records.

Our retention principle is to keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry, a resulting business relationship, legitimate business or recordkeeping requirements and applicable legal obligations. Different systems may follow different normal retention and deletion cycles. We do not promise a single fixed retention period or automatic deletion of all copies at the same time.

You may contact us about a particular record or request deletion. Requests will be considered in light of applicable requirements, any continuing need for the information and the capabilities of the systems concerned. Copies in backups may remain until those backups follow their normal replacement or deletion cycle.

Website inquiry records are managed through authorised administration, and the website uses encrypted HTTPS connections. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, request deletion or withdraw consent for uses based on consent, subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions. Withdrawing information needed to handle an inquiry may prevent us from completing it.

Please email info@apexgateways.com, addressed to the Privacy Officer, with the subject Privacy request. Describe your request without sending sensitive identification documents. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing personal information.

You may also raise a concern with the applicable privacy regulator, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

External websites and policy updates

Links to brand websites and social platforms lead to services with their own privacy practices. Please review their policies before providing information to them.

We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The revision date displayed with the published policy will identify its latest approved revision.
